Come to the Veteran's Memorial Senior Center, 144 School Street , Woburn, MA on most Wednesday nights between 7:30 and 9:30 PM and see the fun of square dancing. Call numbers on our Home Page for schedule.

September 24, 2008 - Starts our 10-week "Introduction to Square Dancing I" course at $60 per person or $100 per couple for the 10-week course.

Workshop - If we do not have enough new dancers for a class, we will offer a Plus workshop starting at 7:30 PM.

Square dancing - with caller/teacher Johnny Wedge.

Round dancing - with cuers Phil Gatchell or Marilyn Rivenburg between square dance tips

A1 tip - at the end of each evening (9:30 PM).

The web site is in Japan but that doesn't matter because square dancing uses English names for the movements (known as "calls") all around the world. There are also CDROMs showing the Movements and you can play, step, rewind and see how each movement/call is done.
